The Nursery School
Under the supervision of an experience and qualified staff, the children at Payson Park Nursery School are encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically in a balanced pre-school program that offers a comfortable transition from home to school.
A learning environment is provided for the children at Payson Park. They will experience many areas of development. Free-play gives children an opportunity to socialize. Story time enriches listening skills. Music time gives children a sense of rhythm and an appreciation of songs. Activity time teaches children to follow and apply directions on papers in a class setting, in preparation for Kindergarten. Large motor skills are developed through playtime either outside or in our indoor gymnasium.
- Hours are 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. We offer an extended day until 1:00 p.m.
- Parents can choose either a two (Tuesday/Thursday), three day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), or five day program.
