WORLD HUNGER EDUCATION:
THE YOUTH OF GOD’S GARDEN
ARE HAVING AN
ART EXHIBIT!

The children of God’s Garden have been encouraged to use the arts to communicate to the congregation this message of ending world hunger. This message can often be intellectually challenging. I feel the youth will rise to the occasion. The youth will be creating Heifer posters in church school.

The artwork will then be presented at the Heifer Exhibit on Youth Sunday. The opportunity to purchase the artwork as a fund raiser will also take place, proceeds to go to Heifer International. We invite the congregation to visit and enjoy the exhibit with open hearts and be part of the fund raiser!

GUIDELINES FOR THE ART WORK
• Use the provided pasteboard
• Include name and age
• Include the name Heifer
• Choose one of these themes: importance of education, importance of livestock animals, respect the earth, respect for living creatures, passing on the gift or farming.
• Choose at least one Heifer symbol: lama, bees, seedlings, chicks, heifer, sheep …
• Choose any creative art medium
• Deadline is Sunday, June 6
• Exhibit and fund raiser is June 13
• All entries will receive an official certificate
