PAYSON PARK CELEBRATES EVERY SPRING With the arrival of Earth Day IN SPRING, Payson Park creates a special worship experience annually. Marking the many ways we‟re invited to appreciate and tend to God‟s great creation, the service will help us think together about how we can be more loving and caring towards the Earth, and share it with all God's creatures. From our songs and prayers, the sermon and special offerings at our time of fellow-ship, this day often promises to be one full of inspiration and new awareness. A WORD OF INSPIRATION “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, „Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,‟ and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So faith by it-self, if it has no works, is dead.” James 2: 14-17 A NOTE OF THANKS: FROM THE MISSION COMITTEE Springtime was truly welcomed with joy by the merry crowd of volunteers who efficiently and swiftly made 370 sandwiches for the Bristol Lodge Food Kitchen. Heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all who supported this project with the labor of their hands and provision of supplies. It was a good time of fellowship and practical help for the hungry.
