THEOLOGY, LITERATURE AND COFFEE (TLC) NEWS
The adult education group, “Theology, Literature, and Coffee (TLC),” led by our ministerial associate, the Rev. Bill Ragan, is continuing the discussion of Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Would Cure the World by Tracy Kidder, 2003 on December 13 at 9:00 am.

This non-fiction, biographical work traces the life of physician and anthropologist Paul Farmer with particular focus on his work fighting tuberculosis in Haiti, Peru and Russia. In this powerful, inspiring, true story of a gifted man who is in love with the world and has set out to do all he can to cure it, Kidder shows how one person can make a difference. Farmer is the founder of the Boston based Partners in Health – a global health organization relentlessly committed to improving the health of poor and marginalized people.

Join us on December 13 at 9:00 am, and come to know one another and our God better as we discuss Mountains Beyond Mountains. Come and experience our “Stillspeaking” God at Theology, Literature and Coffee!
