Faith, Hope, and Love Fellowship: Wednesday Evenings, 7:00 - 9:00

All women of the church are invited to join together on Wednesday evenings in the parlor. Inspired by the knitting of prayer shawls, this is a time of “sharing and caring” in the spirit of “faith, hope and love.” Whether you knit or not, please consider coming once or every week to get together with new and old-time friends of the church!

Guitar Class Continues

Payson Park’s Church’s new guitar group joyfully led the congregation in singing “They Will Know We Are Christians by Our Love” on Martin Luther King, Jr., weekend. If you would like to join Kelly Barner and others as we learn a new song, mark your calendar for Thursday, April 12, 7:00 p.m., as we gather in the Pastor’s Study for an hour’s lesson. Join us - no strings attached!

Parents’ Night Out Friday, October 19, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Parents and children rejoice! It’s time for another Parents’ Night Out! Drop your children at the church at 6:00 p.m. so that they may enjoy pizza, and two and a half hours of playtime with the pastor and other volunteers. This time offered in order to support healthy and loving partnerships. If you would like to participate as a family or volunteer, please let the Church Office know by Wednesday, April 25.

Caregivers Unite: A Time of Support and Sharing Wednesday, April 11, 7:00 p.m.

ne of the great opportunities offered in Christian community is to gather together for support and prayer. This caregivers group provides a time of confidential sharing for those caring for loved ones near or far away. If you would like to join together with others facing the joys and challenges of caregiving, please join Lael Atkinson on Wednesday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Pastor’s Study. Caregivers unite: a YOU night for caregivers!

The Good Afternoons: Tuesday, April 24, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Do you strive to be healthy? This is a fellowship and discussion group that continues to give thanks for the gift of life by sharing tips about caring for the mind, body, and spirit. Our reflections this month will center on the psychological aspects of aging. If you have the afternoon free, please join us! All ages are welcome as we give thanks for God’s creation in this unique and human way.

Rhythms of Peace Concert Saturday, April 14, 7:30 p.m.

Rhythms of Peace Concerts will present “Trouz Braz” on Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall Ray Price and Trouz Braz will return with dance music from Brittany, France. They previously appeared at our church in October 2005, when we especially enjoyed their bagpipe presentation and being able to try some of the folk dances. This is a family concert. Bring children, too. Tickets may be purchased at the door ($10 adult, $5 under 13). Light refreshments featuring fine French cheeses will be available.
