Mission and Outreach

Payson Park Church is steadfastly committed to mission and outreach as an essential part of what it means to be a Christian. We actively support a diverse range of non-profit organizations working to alleviate human suffering, build community, promote social justice and enable people to improve the quality of their lives. Payson Park’s support is twofold: annual contributions and volunteer service. Through the efforts of adults, youth and children we are able to help people in need both locally and around the world and share God’s healing, reconciling love.

For many years, this church has been providing a monthly meal to the men & women who frequent the Bristol Lodge Food Kitchen in Waltham. They come for the nourishing meal, but they also benefit from the fellowship and the shelter.

Please bring in new canned goods and dry food items on the first Sunday of every month to continue with the mission project for our two local food pantries in Belmont and Watertown! Your contributions have been well received. Both pantries have specific needs. These lists are posted on the Mission & Outreach board near the church office.

Payson Park Church is honored to be able to financially support the following organizations:

Do you, or someone you know need a ride to Sunday worship services or a special church event? Taxi vouchers are available for you. Offered by the Phillips Transportation Fund, these vouchers can help you or someone you know remain active in the life of Payson Park Church. Contact the office for more information.
